shades-of-periwhinkle asked: That's pretty funny, because I've been subscribed to you since 5AG ended and I started following AGAD, and there's a good chance I'll be at your college next year. So tell me, what is proper Youtube celeb real life meeting etiquette? If you’re going to try to be friends with someone who is popular on YouTube, you want to limit the amount you talk about YouTube. It’s cool to be like “oh yeah, I saw you from your YouTube channel” but being like “oh my god I love your videos so much, you are an inspiration and it’s so cool to meet you, we should be friends forever” makes it seem like you idolize them or see them as some sort of celebrity, when really “YouTube celebrities” aren’t that big of a deal. At that point it’s hard to get out of that sort of relationship dynamic, if that makes sense? |
